|Chobe River - Northern Botswana:
Chobe National Park, in northern Botswana, has one of the largest concentrations of game in Africa. By size, it is the third largest park of the country, after the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and the Gemsbok National Park, and is the most diverse. It is also the country's first national park.|
The Kwando in Namibia is a river in south-central Africa flowing through Angola and Namibia's Caprivi Strip, into the Linyanti Swamp on the northern border of Botswana through the Chobe National Park. Below the swamp the river is called the Linyanti River, and farther east the Chobe River, before it flows into the Zambezi River.
The Chobe river system is noted for its wildlife and for most of its length the land either side is protected as game reserves or wildlife management areas.
The boat leaves the lodge at 3 pm each day and will take you to one of the best wildlife experiences Africa has to offer.
The best time for game veiwing is June to September.
